This year has been challenging for so many, not least those in the healthcare industry. Our Operations Manager, Sioban Stoner, acted quickly at the start of the pandemic and ensured that PPE was sourced at a time when it was scarce to ensure the safety of our staff.
Caring for our carers and clients is central to our care without compromise ethos and being a small, close-knit team made it easy for everyone to pull together quickly regardless of role. Our fabulous administration and payroll assistant, Nicole, found materials and hand made visors to send to our carers and through contacts with our website and app developer, Dizzy Squirrel, a local company used their 3D printer to produce masks free of charge (thank you to Innovate Product Design).
Everyone played their part to ensure that our carers had the PPE and support they needed. This foresight ensured there were no instances of Covid-19 in any of our clients and carers.
