Essex is a large county formed out of the ancient Kingdom of Essex which existed for centuries prior to the emergence of England as a nation. It is bordered by the Thames and the North Sea to the south and east, by Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Hertfordshire to the north and west, and from London to the south-west.
Essex is a very varied county from the ancient towns of Colchester and Thaxted to the new towns of Basildon and Harlow, built to re-house people after the war. Chelmsford, with its ancient cathedral, is the county town of Essex. Essex also has traditional sea-side resorts like Southend and Clacton. Transport hubs include Stansted Airport, the ports of Tilbury and Harwich and the M25 and M11. In addition, there are many rail-links.
Industries in the south and west of the county include electronics, science and pharmaceuticals. Manufacturing of cars and agricultural machinery, as well as glass-making and a variety of service industries, are to be found in the south of the county while the economy of the north tends to be mainly agricultural.
OxleyCare carers receive all mandatory training required by the Care Quality Commission and all drive and cook. Guided by the client’s wishes, they will undertake all the normal tasks of the household. They will keep you company as much or as little as you require, shop for you, assist with personal care and medication if necessary; drive you to social occasions and appointments or just for a change of scene - and they will take care of the household animals.
