We were inspected in December 2008 by The Commission for Social Care Inspection. We were rated as providing a 3 Star Excellent Service - the highest possible award. This was confirmed by the Care Quality Commission in January 2010.

Our Foundation 
OxleyCare was founded by Valerie Oxley in 2000 to provide the highest quality live-in care for clients in their own homes. OxleyCare specialises in providing 24 hour live-in care and will cover anything from a few days’ respite care to provide a break for the present caregiver, to long-term care stretching over months or years.

Live-in Care at home
OxleyCare will enable you to live with dignity and independence in your own home. We can provide care-companions and senior carers for clients whose care is simple. Our carers with nursing qualifications care for clients with more complex needs. We can undertake companion care, personal care, post-operative care, convalescent care, respite care, holiday care, care for couples and care for the terminally ill as well as Dementia care or Alzheimer’s care.

High Quality Care
OxleyCare strives to provide a very high standard of care, basing this on how we would wish our own parents to be cared for. Being able to stay, cared-for, in their own homes is deeply appreciated by our clients. Care at home ensures that you are safe in your own surroundings, with all your own things around you and living according to your own routines and wishes. You will be enabled to retain your dignity in the privacy of your own home, to be independent and to be in control of your own life. This is so important for your health and well-being. A carer can provide relief from many daily household chores, allowing you to do the things you really enjoy.

Our Carers
OxleyCare Carers are all personally interviewed, screened through the Criminal Records Bureau and both verbal and written references are taken up before engagement. We endeavour to match the carer’s abilities and personality to the client’s requirements. We monitor the well-being of both client and carer on a regular basis. Round the clock help is available to both client and carer, seven days per week via our on-call service which ensures that a member of the management team is always available. Our carers are provided with a detailed OxleyCare Handbook for guidance.
